Self is defined as the total being of a person, awareness of the individual or qualities of the individual. It is personality, features, traits, habits, attributes, uniqueness and distinctiveness that relates to self. These are all the things that distinguish person from person. The evaluation by oneself of one’s worth as an individual is distinction from one’s interpersonal or social roles is self.

Self love means to accept yourself as you are and to come to terms with those aspects of yourself that you cannot change or simply make you different from others .

Self love is incredibly individual. It doesn’t look the same for any two people. It means not to subject yourself due to unnecessary suffering and to feed what is highest in yourself. At our core, we are pure and truly lovable. We deserve to be celebrated for our uniqueness. Self love is fully knowing, no matter what you do or neglect to do, you will always be true to who you are. It is the complete acceptance of who and what you are. Some people believe that it's only in times of great stress that a person's true self is revealed. I say, even in difficult times or not, it’s up to us to decide who we are and what we will become. Not our parents, not our educators or even society. We have the power to choose and our choices impact our beliefs and feelings. So ultimately it affects how we love ourselves. Self love is the answer to everything. Everything we are and everything in our life is in direct proportion to our level or lack of self love. Greater self love inspires our life, because our worth comes from within. Approval from others doesn't work, but self love does.

1. Practice mindfulness

Mindfulness means living in the present moment. It is living in the zone, the current and the now. It is living deeply in the now, allowing things to happen and flowing with them. We have to decrease the noise and increase the signal to allow mindfulness. When we are mindful, we are simply observing our different positive and negative thoughts without judging them. It increases your attention and lowers your anxiety, helps you in making fast decisions and enhances your intuition power. As human beings, we spend so much time in our heads worrying about the future or reliving something in the past. Mindfulness is a great tool to start breaking that habit piece by piece. When you think about it, there is no real reason to hold grievances about our past or worry about our future, because neither the past or future exist. The past only exists in our memory and the future has yet to come. It is our unwritten chapter. We can't change any experiences from the past, just as we cannot control what happens to us in the future. The only real time to live is now. Mindfulness allows us to practice living in that now. Mindfulness helps connect you with yourself. You learn how to take that word self love and put it into practice with the limitations and the unpredictability of your body as it is.


2. Meditate

The main practice of mindfulness is meditation, Meditation is good for conditioning you to be more mindful and non judgmental. You know, training attention to where you want it to be. It’s all about developing a greater awareness of our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations moment by moment experienced in an atmosphere of non judgment, openness and curiosity. Meditation is a way to calm your mind and body to help you cope with illness, pain and stress. You can practice mindfulness through meditation anytime and anywhere. .

3. Self Care

Invest time in good self-care, because your health and well-being is the most important of these all. Take care of your body, personal hygiene, mental health and medical needs. These

are all closely linked, so one often affects the others. Healthy self care includes exercising, getting an adequate amount of sleep, getting regular medical check-ups, eating healthy foods and having a well balanced diet.


4. Celebrate Your Wins

Give yourself credit where credit is due. Don't wait for people to celebrate with you, do it with others or alone. Acknowledge your own hard work and efforts, and do things for yourself when you have earned it. One of the easiest ways to boost your well-being is to celebrate your wins more often. Then winning becomes a habit and you normalize it. Celebrating your wins will also instruct your subconscious to give you more things to celebrate. Also, focus on the small victories. You can turn your small victories into big ones. Ditch the “cant” and “it will never happen” attitude.


5. Protect Your Energy


unhealthy relationships and toxic people out of your life. By doing so, you are able to clear the cutter and protect your peace. Do not welcome unhealthy attitudes or negative vibrations around you. Keep the draining influences of other people’s demands at a distance. The minute you feel someone pulling on your energy, check out the situation.
